I want to hate those who kill but I want to encourage those who struggle to survive...I want my fellow beings to live in peace...
But I ask for too much...we are living in a tragic story and we are nearing the last chapter...God reads along, watching his creation crumble away into destruction...unhappy He is...
I want to be able to care...but I don't anymore...there are too many people dying...too many people suffering...to many people unhappy....
I want to feel for them....

well perhaps if this 'hellfire' person had decently registered his views on God, it may have been far easier for all of us to respect each other's views. Therefore, there is a manner by which one must represent his/her views if that person hopes to command any respect.

God is not substantiated by fact, and therefore by default, we must assume that he does not exist. Any other opinion is just belief. Being Religious is fine, but do not imply that there is something wrong with being Atheist.

Our ancestors also perceived that the World was flat and that the Sun revolved around the Earth. When a caveman bears witness to thunder and lightning, he can only attribute this to some divine power. He lacks the scientific knowledge that we have today and cannot explain it in any other way. Economic might has absolutely nothing to do with Religion.
China, an emerging Economic superpower, has a population that is almost 60% non-religious. And anyway, America and the EU both have a huge non-religious population.

The American Depression came to a halt because the army began drafting millions of men to fight WWII, absorbing most of the unemployed. Economic reforms helped too.
